Fear Not the Night Update

So I've run into a conundrum with this story. I really, really want to keep with story because I have a hard time finishing projects and I want to start finishing them. However, I'm in my last two years of my Bachelor's degree and so I need to start focusing on adding to my collection of stories and grades and what not to make my application for universities for my Master's more shiny, as well as continue working on my sci-fi book. In other words I don't have a lot of time for non-profitable or helpful projects. But again I don't want to stop on you guys.

The solution I came up with is that I should start writing the rest story as writing goes faster for me and then when I get to a more stable time in my life I'll then maybe convert it into the comic format that I started this in. Thoughts, concerns, do you have another idea that you think would work better? Please let me know in the comments or through a message.
